Our flagship show is HerbiWars, the world's first plant based cooking competition show. Episode 1 stars John Salley and celebrity chefs Emira Kowalska and Jackie Sobon battling it out in the Gardein test kitchen. Jackie thinly sliced the sunchokes and fried them until golden, then warmed a savory sauce of yogurt, flour and spices until it thickened. She then coated the Chick’n Scallopini in a mixture of almond meal, flour and salt, pan frying the pieces until light brown and keeping them warm in the oven. Lastly, she tossed arugula in a vinaigrette of grapefruit juice, yogurt, apple cider vinegar and agave, plus seasoning; sprinkled grapefruit with sugar and brûléed it in a pan and garnished the salad with grapefruit pieces, thinly sliced celery and shallots, plus sprinkles of cayenne and sea salt.
Emira sautéed the Scallopini's with spinach and curried chickpeas,
Added two cups of Kite Hill yogurt in a blender, along with some curry powder, cayenne, squeezed grapefruit, fried onions with sunchokes soy sauce and agave syrup. Yogurts go great with curry!
